Class Description:

One Tai Chi class, three open hand forms – all for the same price!  In this class we will practice the Yang Style Long Form, the Yang Style Short Form, and the Yang 24-Form!  Tai Chi in the Park is about flexibility.  Join us for the entire two hours, or only for part of it (same price either way).  If you don’t know one of the forms, this is your chance to try it.  We will practice Tai Chi Ruler, the Eight Brocades, Short & Long Yi Jin Jing, Tai Chi walking, as well as the forms. Classes are on the softball field infield or on grass.  Shade is limited, so bring water and dress for the weather.  In the event of (heavy) rain, class may be held virtually on Zoom.

  1. I am interested in taking your Wednesday Virtual and the Saturday Tarnhill Park classes. My work schedule will not allow me to make it to every class. If I want to take the Wednesday class how early do I need to register prior to class? Is it possible to take the Saturday class at Tarnhill on a drop in bases? Respectfully, Kay

    1. Hi Kay Marie,

Sorry about the delayed response, I was out of the country until yesterday. You can still register for the virtual class, which will begin on Wednesday, June 19th. I would need a day or so to send you the link for the ZOOM Meeting. Regarding the Saturday classes, yes, you could drop in and pay by the time. The cost would be $12/class on a drop in basis. You can register for the Virtual class here. And the Saturday morning class here (if you decide to register for the full session).

    1. Hi Cathy,

To answer your question, yes. We have two teachers available, so the class can be split into a beginner group and an on-going group. If you want to register, you can do so here.
